Is it possible to run a vote of no confidence against the current speaker ?

I know this may be the wrong place to put it (still a congressional newbie) but in my opinion the current speaker has either neglected or refused to carry out their duties as expected , On top of that they seem to have vanished . If it is possible to conduct this vote i suggest Crisfire as a replacement (i voted against him for speaker but not for any definitive reason , newbishness maybe) if the vote passes.

No confidence in me? where are the votes on all the people who proposed illegally, why exactly is it that I have to handle all of that, when you are all members, you could ask for votes, and to suggest other wise is pathetic.

You ran for the speaker position , not me.

A speaker is just a glorified moderator. She cannot make people show up here, only the congressman themselves and the PP can make that happen.

well i look it at like this. 1/4 of congress showed up to vote. How about we start debating here and get at least 10 more people involved as a goal? 10 more. All we really need to do is get people back here Molly. meaning WE. You need to do your job to make sure viotes get put up for debate/vote and inforcing the law as needed. You ran to become essentially "The leader of Congress" which means you are responsible for the legislative branch of the government. I am not angry at you, i understand where you are coming from. But these sorts of "controversies" are good publicity for the forums, and thefore the meta game. This is a matter of getting people involved or not now, regardless of the what sparked this debate. the meta game; the only part of the game that drives the community anymore is the only thing that matters.

Crisfire's similar topic has been locked because it essentially the same debate and this one has been moved to ODC which is it's proper place.

Tell the truth, you started replying to comments said to Crisfire, who wants to pull the trigger on people, but has not taken an ounce of responsibility for his own inactivity the first ten days of congress. He needed to be pushed by DMV to even call for a speaker, so the charter only matters when it's useful for him?

I will admit to no such thing , I made my fears clear alone , i barely know crisfire and DMV3 i opposed your standing as speaker because i alone believed you weren't doing congress justice at all

And this forum proves that congress as a whole did not do much of anything until after presidential elections.

Look i'm done trying to reason , you obviously don't want to be friendly and compromise and i can cope with that just do the job you volunteered for so congress can do theirs

You keep bringing up ten days of my inactivity, which isnt true, but you bring it up as if its an excuse for your own inactivity. However, I dont have a problem with your activity but you lack of understanding of your position

DMV didnt push me to do anything, I told him as Speaker I could achieve more to get congress active then as a Liason between the two, so I resigned and ran for Speaker, and lost. Technically I was still Deputy and in the absence of the outgoing Speaker I called for a Speaker vote

Im still a member of Congress with serious concerns about how it is run, which is my right.

Either wake up, grow up and do your job or resign.

You should have called for the speaker vote sooner, that's your failure, you could at least own up to that. But you left that out in your little article

Crisfire wasn't the speaker from what i remember it wasn't his job.

But he says he was deputy, if he could do it when he did, he could have done it sooner. It seems like a bit of an over look on his part, the same sort of over look I made that has been turned into a public article, difference is no one is calling him out in eRep itself.
